Crossway is currently hiring a Care pastoral assistant to join our Care team at our Burwood East campus on a part time basis. Our Care ministry exists to provide support and care to those in need across our ministry. This position will be responsible for assisting the Care Pastor with administrative and pastoral tasks and coordinating with communications team and relevant departments to facilitate effective promotion of Care courses/events and events. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organisational and project management skills, be proficient in using Microsoft Office and be effective in working in a team environment.

Additional Needs Pastor – Part time (2 days per week)

Crossway’s Additional Needs Ministry is seeking a part-time (2 days/week) Additional Needs Pastor to support preschool and primary-aged children with additional needs (ASD, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome) at our Burwood East campus. Responsibilities include managing volunteers, developing tailored curriculum, and training staff.

Worship Pastor

Maroondah Campus

Crossway’s Maroondah campus is seeking to employ a Worship Pastor to oversee the worship and production of our Sunday gatherings, as well as special events such as Christmas and Easter. This role will also be responsible for managing our communications strategy through social media and email. The ideal candidate will have a Biblical studies qualification, strong leadership and communications skills to lead in a multi-team environment as well as knowledge of Building a Discipling Culture methodology, principles and tools.

2 x Administration Support / Receptionist roles – Part-time & Casual

Crossway is looking for two dedicated and friendly receptionists for our front desk. One role will be part time and the other will be casual, on an on call basis.

Our receptionists play the important role of serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers and providing exceptional customer service and support. These roles are vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring efficient communication across the organisation. These roles will provide administration support through which includes database management, membership management, assistance with online systems and other administration project / initiatives to support our People and Operations team. The ideal candidates will be committed to the Values, Mission and Vision of Crossway Baptist Church, have a warm, welcoming personality, an excellent phone manner and be highly organised. Experience in administration is highly desired.

Crossway Preschool in Brighton is looking to employ a Crossway Preschool in Brighton is looking for a passionate, Diploma-qualified Activity Group Leader to fill a permanent, part time role commencing in Term 1, 28th January 2025. This role involves leading our Activity Group, which is an optional extra day of kindergarten for children attending our 4-year-old program. We have a well-established Nature Play Program (Bush Kinder) that is run as part of the Activity Group.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment and passion for supporting children to engage with nature, manage risk and engage in child directed play in a natural, open ended play environment. You will be supported by our experienced team of Early Childhood Teachers who have developed the existing Nature Play program.

This role will be for 11.5 hours per week on Wednesdays, with the option to increase hours and cover lunch breaks on additional days and the potential for Casual/Relief Work.
